Structures of Life
To me, Life is the primal force that moves everything -endlessly shifting matter from one physical state to the next.
With today’s tools, we can zoom in and out of life at every scale: from subatomic particles to deep space. And somehow, the same patterns keep appearing everywhere: a walnut echoes the folds of a human brain; ice patterns look like flowers; neurons mirror the roots of delicate plants.
These structures repeat across all levels -as if life has a handwriting of its own.
In the end, life is a mystery.
I can only look -and wonder.

Structures of Life.. I-III
This early triptych marks the beginning of the Structures of Life series.
Created before the introduction of resin and organic shaping, these works explore fracture as structure -gold leaf breaking through deep ultramarine surfaces.
Crack lines do not weaken the image; they define it.
The fissures become connective pathways, revealing strength through rupture.
These paintings established the central theme of the series: that fragmentation, when embraced, forms its own internal architecture.

Structures of Life.. III
200 x 120 cm. Oil paint and goldmetal leaf on canvas
A bold central break defines the composition, establishing the visual language that would later shape the series.
Now part of the Ritz-Carlton collection, Miami.
