Clouds have shaped our skies since the beginning of time -drifting in forms made from water vapor, dust, ash, or smoke.

Always changing, yet essentially the same as they were millions of years ago. When we look at a sky today, we see something ancient 

-a view shared with every generation before us.

In Atmospheres I explore these ever shifting moods: the quiet drama of weather, the way light moves across earth and skies.

Each painting is built in thin, translucent oil layers, letting light

breathe gently through the surface.

To me, these skies and horizons are more than landscapes.
They’re states of mind -moments of space and time.
