A painting about creation, erosion, and transformation
-about how beauty and destruction can share the same space.
Inspired by the geothermal landscape of Yellowstone, it carries that meeting point of fire and water, of minerals constantly reshaping the earth.
I worked with layers of pigment and texture to echo those living forces; sulfur yellows, rust, and deep mineral blues that seem to move beneath the surface.
It became, for me, a portrait of the earth’s own alchemy -a spirit rising from heat, sediment, and time.
