She emerged slowly, as if from within the material itself
-a veiled presence, quiet yet commanding, carrying both mystery and calm.
While working on her, I felt something ancient and feminine taking form; the wisdom that moves beneath the visible, the strength that doesn’t need to reveal itself.
I added gold leaf to flicker softly across the stone-like surface, as if this spirit had been uncovered from within a wall or ritual tablet -only to retreat again into silence.
To me, Spirits of the Masked Goddess is about mystery itself -the divine that hides just beneath the surface, waiting to be felt rather than found.
