Spirits of the Kazakh
70 x 50 x 2 cm. 2,55 kg.
Crackled fresco surface, mixed media and oil paint on canvas
Ready to hang
My portrait of the Mongolian huntress and her eagle hunting partner reflects the bond between human and nature, between the Kazakh people and the vast, untamed land they call home.
I wanted to capture that quiet strength -the wordless understanding between two beings who have learned to trust each other in silence.
The surface carries my modern fresco technique; crackled, textured, layered with pigments and metallic tones
-echoing the endurance of traditions that survive
the coldest winds.
It’s a meditation on guardianship, independence, and inner strength -a quiet dialogue between freedom and belonging.
