In Spirits of Niké, I was drawn to the idea of movement frozen in time -a spirit rising through air and flame,
caught between destruction and victory.
Niké, for me, isn’t just a goddess from myth, but a symbol of inner strength -of what remains when everything else has fallen away.
That statue, made of crackled marble that has witnessed centuries, reminds me that triumph can be born from fragility.
My portrait of it becomes an expression of hope
-that grace survives when power falls.
