The world can feel like this sometimes: dark, turbulent, overwhelming. There is so much information about suffering, war, injustice, that it can be hard to remember most of us actually live good lives, with much to be grateful for.

I think about this often. And I keep coming back to the same conclusion: letting the weight of the world weaken us helps no one. It's better to have faith -not because everything is fine, but because faith is a choice. A conscious decision to stay hopeful, to find strength, and then do what we can.
