Jacques
Jacques Brel had that intensity that felt almost too big for the stage
-as if every word cost him something.
I’ve always been moved by how completely he threw himself into a song: eyes closed, fists clenched, singing straight from the
centre of his being.
In this portrait I tried to capture that moment where emotion takes over
-raw, unfiltered, real.
