A quiet homage to the peyotl cactus -sacred plant and spiritual guide. I wanted this piece to echo the desert’s ancient rituals and the still pulse of ancestral earth.
I’ve always loved not just the form of the cactus, but that mysterious, steady rhythm it seems to hold;
a kind of living presence.
Faintly etched in the background are Navajo-inspired symbols, almost hidden; whispering of myth, ceremony, and a reverence for Life that runs deep and old.
For me, Spirits of Peyotl is about listening inwardly -about awareness, and expanded consciousness.
